Our postcard competition is back, and this year, we’re giving you the chance to design a postcard that tells a story. But here’s a catch: we want you to do it without words. Think you can capture the challenges young people face in Europe with just visuals?
Well, now’s your chance to show us what you’ve got!
What's the theme? “The challenges young people face in Europe.”
It could be anything, mobility, access to culture, education, housing (oh, wait, did someone actually mention that?!), or anything else that reflects your life as a young person in Europe.
We want you to tell your story through striking visuals. Make it meaningful, make it memorable, and most importantly, make it yours!
The rules (it’s simple)
- No offensive content: Let’s keep it respectful and inclusive for all.
- Your design must be print-friendly, so keep it in A6 size (10.3 x 14.5 cm).
- Eligibility: You’ve got to be between 15-30 years old and have an active European Youth Card to enter.
- No AI: Need some help? Ask a friend! AI might not be your best choice here. It’s not exactly facing the same struggles as you, so don’t expect it to resonate with your experiences! We’re looking for authentic, creative designs from you, no artificial help.
How to enter (pay attention)
- Create your design: Make it visually stunning and relevant to the theme.
- Submit it: Upload your artwork to any cloud storage (Google Drive, WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc.) as long as it’s viewable for us. Make sure you provide the link via the form.
- Competition timeline: The competition is valid from April 2nd to April 30th, so make sure to submit before time runs out!
The prizes (cue the drumroll)
- There will be 3 winning designs - that’s THREE chances to win!
- €100 Etsy voucher: Perfect for artsy finds, creative tools, or just treating yourself.
- Plus, the winning postcards will be printed and used in various events across Europe. These postcards will give young people a platform to express their needs and interact with descision makers. How cool is that?
The winners will be chosen by a jury, made up of the EYCA Youth Panel and EYCA Brussels Office staff. The winners will be selected shortly after the competition ends in May.
