Card's Profile

In Germany, the European Youth Card is a project of Reisenetz e. V., the German Association for Youth Travel, which is the leading and most active network for youth travel in Germany, bringing together around 100 commercial and non-profit organisations from across the country.

The ‘Jugendkarte’ is the largest benefits card for young people aged 12 to 29 in Germany and offers more than 22,000 different benefits when travelling in more than 30 European countries.

 If you are resident in Germany, you will also receive travel health insurance from ERGO, including travel health insurance valid worldwide for one year and for any number of trips (up to a maximum of 45 days each).

The card is issued by Reisenetz - German Association for Youth Travel.
