Reduced ticket for cardholders. Open: Tue-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat-Sun 10am-2pm, closed on Mon. The permanent exposition comprises of: a collection of the old sculptures and folk paintings, customs and rituals of the Bochnia region, extra-European cultures (Africa, South America, Asia), archaeology of the region, history of Bochnia with special attention of the Salt Mine, craft momentos, national uprisings, history of local education, tradition of Bochnia writing and printing. It also presents Judaica and the gallery of Polish painting in the 19th – 20th centuries, (T. Axentowicz, O. Boznańska, J. Fałat, S. Filipkiewicz, A. Karpiński, J. Malczewski, T. Makowski, J. Stanisławski, W. Tetmajer, K. Tichy, W. Wodzinowski, L. Wyczółkowski), Bochnia painting in the 19th – 20th centuries (S. Fischer, K. Gulik, F. Hanusz, T. Łosik, W. Kasprzyk, S. Klimowski, K. Mien, F. Mollo, F. Pilarz, M. Samlicki, B. Serwin, L. Stasiak), the Polish and foreign portrait in the 17th – 20th centuries.

Czynne: wt-pt 10-16, sb-nd 10-14, pn nieczynne. Siedziba: dawny klasztor dominikański XVII-XVIII w. położony przy średniowiecznym rynku. Zbiory: sztuka ludowa z cenną kolekcją rzeźby i malarstwa (XVIII-XX w.), pamiątki historyczne i archiwalia związane z dziejami miasta i miejscowej kopalni soli, zabytki cechowe (XV-XX w.), judaica, malarstwo polskie XVII-XX w., sztuka kultur pozaeuropejskich (Afryka, Ameryka, Azja).
