Západočeská galerie v Plzni

The Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen

Západočeská galerie v Plzni is one of the most important gallery institutions in the Czech Republic. Our collections cover the period from the 14th century to the present day and, in addition to individual top-quality works, contain high-quality collections of 19th century art, turn-of-the-century art and Czech modernism, including a particularly valuable collection of cubism. The collection currently comprises over 13,000 works. The ZČG organises regular exhibitions, which can be visited in historical buildings in the city centre - the former medieval market hall, the so-called "Masné krámy", and the original Gothic-Renaissance house No. 13 in Pražská Street, the so-called "13" exhibition hall.
