Festival Off Avignon

Join us from 4 to 25 July 2026 for the 60th edition of the Avignon OFF Festival! A creative space born spontaneously in 1966 around the Avignon Festival (known as the “In” festival), the Avignon OFF Festival is now one of the largest live performance festivals in the world. Every summer, in July, Avignon is transformed into a festival city as thousands of artists take over more than a hundred theatres across the city and perform in its streets. A unique model built around the independence of the participating organisations, the Avignon OFF Festival showcases the richness and diversity of national and international artistic creation. To support the event, the association Avignon Festival & Compagnies (AF&C) was created in 2006 on the initiative of theatres, followed by companies and production organisations. Throughout the year, AF&C develops initiatives to support artistic creation, encourage emerging talent and the professional development of artists, while expanding audiences and improving accessibility for everyone.
