EURO26 at Campus Poland of the Future 2024

From August 23 to 29, the Kortowo campus in Olsztyn hosted a remarkable event called Campus Poland of the Future 2024. This was the fourth edition of the socio-political festival aimed at people aged 18-35, attracting young leaders, social activists, and key figures from various fields of public life.

Over the course of several days, more than 500 prominent figures from the worlds of politics and culture gathered to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing Poland, exchanging insights on the economy, environment, democracy, and the rule of law. Notable attendees included:

  • Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland and President of the European People's Party, who emphasized the importance of youth participation in public life.
  • Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw and initiator of Campus Poland of the Future, who spoke about the role of young people in shaping the country's future.
  • Sanna Marin, former Prime Minister of Finland.
  • Dr. Anne Applebaum, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and lecturer.
  • Věra Jourová, Vice President of the European Commission.
  • Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
  • Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense.

Each day featured meetings, discussions, and workshops on a variety of topics. In the afternoons, there were guest talks, concerts, performances, outdoor cinema, and sports activities. It’s no surprise that the entire event was widely covered by all Polish media.

The values promoted by Campus Poland of the Future align with the mission of EYCA (European Youth Card Association), which is why our member EURO26 was present at the event, where we promoted our initiatives for youth.

¨Thanks to this activity, we were able to gain as many as 250 new members, reflecting the interest in our offerings. This was not only a great opportunity for us to engage directly with participants but also to discuss new partnerships and opportunities for collaboration with other organizations. Inspired and full of positive energy, we return to the office, ready to continue supporting youth as EURO26, offering them tools to pursue their passions and goals¨.
