The Museum of the South Podlasie Region in Biała Podlaska is one of the area’s key cultural institutions, located within the historic Radziwiłł palace and park complex at 12 Warszawska Street. It is renowned for possessing Poland’s largest collection of Orthodox icons—over 1,400–1,600 pieces dating from the 17th to 19th centuries—as well as extensive holdings of Arabian horse-themed paintings, works by folk painter Bazyli Albiczuk, numismatics, and archaeological and ethnographic artifacts reflecting the folk culture of South Podlasie. Its permanent exhibitions explore the history of the city and region, the Radziwiłł family, and a broad range of art and historical objects. The museum also actively organizes educational programs, temporary exhibitions, and cultural events.
