Ethnographical Museum Ochla

Reduced ticket, Monday free entry

The Ethnographical Museum in Ochla, located near Zielona Góra, is one of Poland’s largest open‑air ethnographic parks, covering 13 hectares of scenic landscape with forests, meadows, and ponds. Founded in 1982, it features nearly 80 historic rural buildings and more than 10,000 artefacts illustrating the traditional folk culture of the Lubuskie region and surrounding ethnographic areas. The museum’s collections include farmsteads, cottages, granaries, smithies, chapels, and an exceptional 18th‑century wine tower from Budachów, reflecting architectural traditions of Eastern Lusatia, Western Greater Poland, and Lower Silesia. Visitors can explore exhibits on rural crafts, agriculture, textiles, woodworking, blacksmithing, as well as the heritage of post‑war settlers and a reconstructed homestead from Romanian Bukovina. The site also hosts seasonal events, educational workshops, and a nature trail, making it a lively place to experience regional history and culture.
