The museum is located in a historic building constructed on the foundations of a former castle, adjacent to a medieval tower later adapted as a water tower. Its collections include archaeological, ethnographic and historical artefacts, with a particularly rich section devoted to beekeeping. Visitors can see traditional log hives, carved and figurative hives, tools and equipment used in apiaries, as well as an extensive set of memorabilia connected to Jan Dzierzon: documents, manuscripts, photographs and personal items. The museum’s exhibitions also explore the cultural traditions of the Kluczbork region and the broader heritage of Upper Silesia.
