The Museum of Lubuska Land in Zielona Góra is one of the region’s oldest museums, with origins dating back to 1908. It holds over 17,000 objects related to the history, art, and cultural heritage of the Lubusz region. Established as a Heimatmuseum in 1922, it became a Polish institution after World War II. Its collections include old and modern art, a significant set of Russian icons, Gothic sculpture, and Poland’s only dedicated winemaking department reflecting the area’s long viticultural tradition.
