It holds over 17,000 objects related to the history, art, and cultural heritage of the Lubusz region. Established as a Heimatmuseum in 1922, it became a Polish institution after World War II. Its collections include old and modern art, a significant set of Russian icons, Gothic sculpture, and Poland’s only dedicated winemaking department reflecting the area’s long viticultural tradition.
