The Museum in Częstochowa, established in 1828, is the region’s oldest cultural institution, showcasing the history, art, archaeology, ethnography, and natural heritage of Częstochowa. Its main exhibition space is the historic Town Hall, home to the permanent display “History of the City of Częstochowa”, featuring prehistoric artefacts, medieval documents, and items connected with the Jasna Góra monastery. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, educational programmes, and cultural events throughout the year.
