Cretan University Publications

The Crete/The Cretan University Publications operate as an independent, non-profit, and self-funded publishing and educational organization within the framework of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH). Its main goals are to enhance university teaching with carefully selected textbooks, to provide editorial support for original scientific research, and to publish high-quality books for the general public on important contemporary issues. The fundamental values of the publishing house are alignment with international quality standards, openness, and the preservation of our intellectual autonomy. To date, approximately 800 book titles have been published in the main fields of natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and arts, while the publishing work of the press has received significant accolades and maintains a strong presence in bookstores across the country. Especially for holders of the European Youth Card, The Crete/The Cretan University Publications offer discounts 10% and 30% (10% discount on new publications and 30% for the rest of the published books ) EXCLUSIVELY at the following bookstores of the Publications.
