Call for Young People: Apply for the 6th International EYC Educo Camp!

The public call for applications is officially open for the 6th edition of the international EYC Educo Camp, which will bring together more than 35 young people from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia from August 12–14, 2026, at the "Lovćen" Recreational and Educational Center on Ivanova Korita.

The event is aimed at young people aged 18 to 25 who want to develop their knowledge and skills through interactive workshops, focus groups, lectures from experienced professionals, and numerous outdoor activities — while exchanging experiences with peers from the region and spending three days learning, socializing, and networking.

This year's camp is held under the slogan: Future Ready: Skills, opportunities, and youth participation in a changing world. The programme is designed to give young people space to develop practical skills, actively participate in their communities, better understand contemporary social and technological changes, and connect with peers from countries across the region.

What awaits participants at the Camp?

Over two programme days, participants will have the opportunity, through a rich and interactive programme, to build knowledge and practical skills in areas such as youth participation, leadership, career development, artificial intelligence, digital literacy, financial independence, youth work, teamwork, and the development of the European Youth Card from a young person's perspective.

On the first day, a panel discussion titled "From the Local Community to National Policies: Who Creates Opportunities for Young People?" will be held, aimed at discussing how to create better opportunities for young people in their local communities and how local and national levels can work together to contribute to more balanced development of youth policies and services in Montenegro. The panel will bring together representatives of relevant institutions, local-level actors, and youth activists.

A special part of the programme will be dedicated to the Future EYC Lab, an interactive focus group in which participants, together with the EYC team, will discuss what their ideal European Youth Card (EYC) would look like — what benefits, services, and opportunities they expect from the programme, and how the card can better respond to the needs of young people in Montenegro and the region.

Participants can also look forward to engaging workshops and discussions on responsible and safe use of artificial intelligence, digital skills and the online space, personal financial planning, recognizing one's own potential and planning a career path, as well as sessions on youth leadership and the role of youth work in the society of the future.

Practical outdoor activities, sports and social games, team challenges, and evening socializing will also be organized, and the Camp will close with a ceremonial certificate presentation to participants.
