Ever wondered how your volunteering experience could inspire others? The European Solidarity Corps Participation Awards is your chance to share your amazing journey with the world. This competition is all about showcasing the unique and inspiring stories of young volunteers like you, who’ve decided step out of their comfort zone  and start on incredible adventures across Europe.

What’s the deal?

It’s simple! You create a one-minute video about your experience as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer. Whether you helped out in a local community, worked on environmental conservation, or supported social inclusion, your story matters. Just upload the video to YouTube Shorts, tag the European Youth Card Association, and you’re all set! This isn’t just about winning cool prizes (though we have some great ones); it’s about sharing your impact and inspiring others to take the leap into volunteering.

How do you win?

We’re looking for creative and engaging videos that can really connect with people. There are 10 winners in total:

• Five winners will be automatically selected based on the number of views your video gets on YouTube. So, the more you share, the better your chances!
• The remaining five winners will be chosen by a jury, including representatives from the European Commission, EYCA office, and the Youth Panel. They’ll be looking at creativity, engagement, and how much your story inspires others.

What’s in it for you?

The prizes are super exciting. Each winner gets two Interrail passes (valid for 7 days within a month), so you can explore Europe with a friend. You’ll also receive €400 in pocket money and a surprise pack of European Solidarity Corps merchandise! The first-place winner, as decided by the jury, will even take home an iPad Air.
